I'm Dan, and I'm based in the San Antonio area. My main quest is simple: live life to the fullest. The trouble is, I get distracted. A lot.
One day it's a sunrise kayak launch on a quiet creek, the next it's chasing bass along a brushy shoreline at Canyon Lake, and somewhere in between I'm rebuilding a server in my homelab at midnight. Every new hobby turns into a side quest, and every side quest turns into a story.
Distracted Quest is where I share those stories. You'll find kayak fishing trips (the catches and the ones that got away), the occasional snag or lost lure, homelab projects, and whatever new rabbit hole I fall down next. I'm not a pro at any of it. I'm just someone who'd rather try something new than sit still.
